Thursday, September 6, 2018I am so sorry and saddened by Jon's passing. My condolences to his whole family. I knew Jon from our years together at Brockport Yacht Club. You could not ask for a better friend. He was always slow to anger, quick to help and always ready to put a smile on someone's face. Strong winds and calm seas for your eternal sail, brother. You will be missed.

Thursday, September 6, 2018Nancy, Erin, Tim and family, I am so sadden and heartbroken to hear about Jon today. Words can't express how much I appreciated him as my neighbor and friend for 20+ years. He was always there watching over my house and my family; if there was a huge package delivery sitting in my driveway for an extended period of time he would call me; if he received a call from the security alarm company I would get that call from Jon; if I needed help with the yard or driveway he was there for me. I'm going to miss your smile and waving to you while we cut our grass and seeing you drive in and out of our shared driveway. I may not see you in person but my heart will always remember and cherish you and our friendship. You will be deeply missed. Rest in peace Jon.

Thursday, September 6, 2018It seems eons ago that I worked with Jon at Kodak in process engineering, and it was a delightful reunion every time our paths crossed in the time since. I remember how Jon could light up the gloomiest day with his presence and wit. When Jon was around, I always felt I was in the room with someone who had unusual energy, someone extraordinary. He always had fresh ideas to share too, and a willingness to take a new angle on some problem or try something new. I was so proud of him and his accomplishments, and know he worked hard while advancing his skills, education, and career. Jon is one of the good guys, and I know he'll be missed by many. To Jon's family and closest friends, I'm truly sorry for your loss.

Wednesday, September 5, 2018Jon was one of the best friends I've had the privilege to have made. We met through Kodak when he was in construction. His intelligence and dedication brought him to engineering where we worked together again. So many memories to choose from: risky cab rides in Xiamen, euchre nights, sailing, surprise birthday parties, skunky Ophelia...More than anything I will miss his kind heart, his sage advice, and his infectious sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
